Unidentified Plane Hijacker
Demanded $200K ransom with a bomb threat, managed to get it delivered through a airport pickup, and then jumped out with a parachute without being found after.
June 1962 Alcatraz Jailbreak
"Successful" escape where two brothers went through the ventilation system and managed to get out of the prison.
They left the island with improvised inflatable rafts, and were never seen again even with dozens of search parties.
The attempt is theorized wildly from those thinking they escaped to the raft not being strong enough or ripped by sharks.
Flannan Isles Lighthouse
Crew Disappearance in 1900, where 3 of the keepers were never seen again only a year after it was first lit.
Traveling ships noticed the light was not operating in poor conditions leading to an inspection where they found the keepers were missing and the flag pole was missing the flag.
There was no sign of the keepers anywhere on the island - the investigation by the lighthouse board beleived they were swept in a storm when trying to secure boxes for refill at the docks.

Man washed up on South Australia beach in 1948 and had a scrap of paper that said "It is finished".
The scrap of paper led to a journal it was torn from - which had a unidentified number and text hat resembled a coded message.
The text has not been interpreted in a way that satisfied authorities.
The case sparked speculation as it was during the Cold War with theories he was a spy - as they were never able to identify who he was.
Oakville Blobs
Manmade substance falls from sky causing illness.
During a night in 1994, a resident reported a jello-like translucent substance rained from the sky and she was fearful her mother was becoming ill and may be the reason of her cat dying.
Samples were collected and it was suspected either it could have been commercial plane waste (ew) or jellyfish remains that evaporated from a rain cloud.
There is no remaining samples of the blobs, but it contained two species of bacteria.

Psychosis episode abroad?
A German man disappeared near a Bulgarian airport when on holiday at a luxurious seaside resort.
Unable to fly home with his friends for health reasons - he began acting strange while alone in Bulgaria.
He called home claiming people were trying to kill him, and on the day he was to fly home - the last sight was him running into the nearby forest after jumping a airport fence on the security camera.

An attack on the Pacific Gas and Electric Company station in California involved a gunman who fired on 17 transformers - causing over $15 million in equipment damage.
The incident had little impact on the station's electrical power supply but the Department of Homeland Security later stated it was committed by an insider.

The Toxic Lady
An American woman in 1994 was admitted to the emergency room, suffering from late stage cervical cancer.
While treating Gloria, 3x hospital staff fainted, and other experienced shortness of breath/muscle spasms. 5x staff required hospitalization, one of which stayed in the ICU for 2x weeks.
The incident was 1st believed to be a case of mass hysteria, but its believed Gloria was ingesting a certain drug regularly as pain treatment that was exposed through her skin that turns into a toxic agent.

Dog Suicide Bridge
A bridge built in 1895 in Scotland, it was under scrutiny starting from the 1950s due to reports of dogs leaping from the bridge causing serious injury or death.
The popular theory is that a minks that nest on the side of the the bridge has a scent that attracts dogs luring dogs, and on later tests researchers found dogs were dramatically lured to mink scent.
1958 Tybee Island Collision
Nuclear Bomb Disappearance
In 1958, a Mark 15 bomb was accidentally dropped over the waters of Tybee Island in Georgia after a fighter plane and bomber collided.
The bomb was never recovered after several searches - with some military personnel still searching.
Monkey-Man of Delhi
Reported sightings of mass hysteria seeing monkey creature.
The reports came during 2001 in Delhi, India - where people said a monkey-like creature was attacking people at night.
Over 350 sightings were reported but all had completely different descriptions.
Havana Syndrome
US and Canadian Gov Officials overseas begin to get cognitive symptoms, reporting from 2016.
The officials report a perceived loud sound, which causes them balance issues/dizziness/insomnia/and headaches.
It is not recognized as a disease by the medical community, and the cause has not been determined.

Mass hysteria in what's now France, where somewhere between 100-300 people danced for weeks.
The hysteria was thought to have been stress-induced (due to there being mass starvation & disease in the areas it happened) or from food poisioning like toxic chemical/fungi being eaten from grains used for bread.
Ball Lightning
A rare phenomenon where a lightning sphere appears like a lightning flash.
Observers have reported it lasts considerably longer than the split-second of a lightning bolt, and varies in sightings from pea-sized to several meters long.
Laboratory experiments have produced similar effects but how they relate to the phenomenon are unknown & the natural cause of it.
Legio IX Hispana
Roman Army that disappeared without a trace - they had fought in multiple provinces in the early/Late Roman Empires.
The 5,400 size army disappeared from all records after 120 AD which most speculate they went into Britian or Germany and died pushing the line - and a less popular theory they joined the Emperor's campaign and disbanded after.
